History

Since the launch of their first full-service restaurant in 1971, the Luciano name has been synonymous with superb customer service and quality food—from the welcoming ambience of each location to the irresistible array of Italian specialties.

Luciano’s Express

In 1983, the Centofanti Family made the decision to move their family restaurant operations from the East Coast to the Alamo City. It is here that Luciano’s Express began.

At Luciano’s Express, fast does not mean “fast food.” The delightful and authentic Italian family recipes are prepared with the freshest and finest Italian ingredients. From the fresh baked breads and Neapolitan or New York pizza, to perfect al dente pasta, all the dishes are prepared lovingly and with great care from scratch.

Luciano’s Express locations call to mind quaint, rustic Italian markets. Luciano’s beautiful hand-painted tiles, open brick oven and almost endless menu delights all seem to say: “Take a break! Come I, relax and enjoy.” This is the essence of Luciano’s Express.

Luciano’s Neighborhood Pizzeria

Drawing from more than 30 years of success throughout the country, the Luciano’s Neighborhood Pizzeria concept was launched in 2007 at Churchill Estates Shopping Center offering quality, convenience and a family atmosphere to their customers.

The stores are different from traditional Italian restaurants. Each location welcomes guests with an array of fresh salads, panini sandwiches, fresh baked breads, soups and a variety of pizzas as well as homemade calzones, stromboli and sausage rolls.

In the Luciano’s Neighborhood Pizzeria Concept you will find La Cucina di Nonna Lina which is the famous open kitchen where fine cuisine is prepared once ordered and the array of Italian specialties is showcased.

Continued Growth

The Centofanti Family continues to grow throughout the United States.  While patrons marvel at the array of hand-painted art and the colorful scheme of the casual, yet chic, dining experience, Gennaro and Luciano continue to receive rave reviews from around the world for their wonderfully prepared authentic Italian food. The restaurants have won the very prestigious CIAO Award from the Italian Government, as all main ingredients are imported from Italy to the stores.

Luciano and Gennaro have been joined in this venture by their children, Antonella (Luciano’s daughter) and Salvatore (Gennaro’s son). The entire Centofanti Family brings you two franchise concepts where food and fabulous customer service give you the feeling of true Italian passion.
