Leticia “Alma” Hobbs

Ms. Hobbs’ extensive and exceptional professional experience in Management and Finance has garnered accolades over the years from numerous associations, societies and professional organizations. She has dedicated much of her attention for the last nine years on the growth of Las Hamacas as Las Hamacas’ CEO. Ms. Hobbs brings invaluable experience in all areas of financial management, expansion and development. Previously, she founded and served as CEO of EMC Services for many years.

Ms. Hobbs is active in both the Houston and Hispanic business community through her service in the Greater Houston Partnership’s Latin Business Development Committee, as well as membership in the Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Camara de Empresarios Latinos de Houston and the Minority Chamber of Commerce.

In addition, she has served on the 2006-2008 Board of Directors of Hondurenos Unidos de Texas, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping and serving Hondurans in the United States. She was instrumental in bringing the International Honduras Festival to Houston. This very important event offers an opportunity for people to learn about the Honduran culture and enjoy unique Honduran food, music, and dance.
